Description:

Pair of Wedgwood & Bentley Porphyry Vases and Covers, England, c. 1775, white maiden handles, foliate borders and festoons, and with central oval cartouches with classical figures in relief, mounted atop black basalt plinths, impressed marks, ht. 12 1/4 in.

Provenance: Milestone Collection.
The Spak Collection of Wedgwood sold to benefit the Florida International Uni

Covers; One with finial restored at the join; rim chip. One with restoration to cover including finial at join, four rim chips.
Vases: One with a handle professionally restored. Each with chips to edges and corners of plinths.
