Four Pieces of Renaissance Revival Seating, probably Italy, late 19th/early 20th century, pair of Savonarola chairs, shaped carved backs, curved armrests, slatted arm supports crossing and joining to feet, ht. 37 3/4, seat ht. 19 3/4, wd. 25, dp. 21 3/4, and a pair of stools with round arms and feet joined by slatted supports, ht. 26 1/2, seat ht. 20, wd. 24, dp. 15 in.
Provenance: Property from the Harvard Art Museum, sold to benefit the acquisition fund.
