U.S. Model 1842 Aston Pistol, c. 1851, bore .54, walnut stock with cartouche marks on the left side, lock marked "MIDDTN/CONN/1851" and "US/H.ASTON & CO," barrel marked "US/JH/P" with "1851" on the barrel tang, barrel lg. 8 1/2, overall lg. 14 in.

Provenance: The collection of Dr. Clifford D. Harvey, by descent to the consignor.
