Small Red- and Gold-painted Odd Fellows Hatchet, America, 19th century, the red-painted head with gold decoration on the blade and spike and crescent moon, on a turned oak handle with red, black, and gold banding, ht. 14 1/2, wd. 8 1/4 in.

Provenance: Collected from an Odd Fellows lodge in Illinois.
