Gray- and Blue-painted Odd Fellows Altar, America, 19th century, the elaborately molded rectangular top on a body with spiral turned corner columns and acorn finials, decorated on the front with carved and painted crossed shepherd's crooks and seven stars against a blue smalted background, the sides with carved and painted crossed spears against a blue smalted background, the back with a door opening to an interior space, gray-painted surface with remnants of smalting, ht. 45, wd. 36, dp. 27 in.
