Carved and Painted Odd Fellows Ark of the Covenant with Gold-painted Angels and Painted Ten Commandments Tablet, America, late 19th century, the white-painted maple ark with column corners, molded base and lid, raised panels with gold sprig and chain link decoration, gold-painted bead molding, the sides with brass rings for the turned and white-painted carrying poles, the lid with carved and gold-painted angels with gold-painted cast metal, and white-painted wood ten commandments tablet with black Hebrew lettering, all supported by a pair of turned and brown stained supports, ark ht. 17 1/2, wd. 37 1/2, dp. 20 3/4, angels ht. 20, wd. 11, dp. 9 in.
