Painted Leather Fire Bucket, New England, early 19th century, the bucket with painted inscription "No 2.H. HILDRETH/F.S./1812," with white floral decoration, over older painted inscription, ht. 13 1/4 in.
Note: The fire bucket is related to Hosea Hildreth, principal of Deerfield Academy.
