Inlaid Mahogany Chest of Four Drawers, early 19th century, the slightly bow-front top with blocked ends above a conforming case of drawers each centering a burl veneer panel with drapery, with various banded inlay throughout, the ends inlaid with descending bellflowers, all on turned legs, (veneer and inlay of later origin),ht. 39 3/4, wd. 41, dp. 20 3/4 in.

while the bureau is of the period, most if not all of the inlay appears to be of later origin.
