Fine and Rare Micromosaic Plaque, probably Italy, c. 1830, depicting figures mourning at the tomb of Napoleon I in the Valley of the Willows on St. Helena, 3 1/8 x 2 in., in a fitted box.

Very fine quality. Possible repair to face of soldier. Minor loss to back of child's head. Some minor overall scattered losses. Unobtrusive.
