Salvador Dalí (Spanish, 1904-1989)
Four Images of Club Cards, from the suite Playing Cards, 1972, from the edition of 150 (Field, 72-4; Michler & Löpsinger, 1287, 1291, 1295, and 1299). Each signed "Dalí" in pencil l.r. and numbered "125/150" in pencil l.l. Color lithographs on paper, image sizes 14 1/4 x 9 1/4 in. (36.2 x 23.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frames.

Only the King has been removed from its frame, but all four are identically framed. The King is on Arches paper with all but the top edge deckled. It is a full sheet measuring 25 5/8 x 19 7/8 inches. The image is gentle light-toned. There is a stray pencil mark to the lower margin. The sheet is adhered to the back ing mat with translucent hinging tape which runs along the top edge of the work recto.
All four cards present in the exact same way with gentle even toning. No other condition issues to report.
