Thomas Hart Benton (American, 1889-1975)

Sunday Morning, 1939, edition of 250 plus proofs, published by Associated American Artists, New York (Fath, 26). Signed "Benton" in pencil l.r. and within the matrix, label from AAA affixed to mat. Lithograph on cream wove paper with "ecw" watermark, image size 9 5/8 x 12 3/4 in. (24.4 x 32.3 cm), matted, unframed.
Condition: Full sheet with deckled edges.
Estimate $2,000-3,000

Measures at 12 x 16 inches, with deckled edges on all sides and even toning. No annotations on verso. Signed "Benton" in pencil l.r. with AAA label affixed to the mat. Printed on woven paper with a "ECW" watermark on verso. White paper tape hinges on the face.
