Eleven hand-colored aquatint plates, including pictorial title-page, by John Hill after Joshua Shaw, and the following subjects: Falls of St. Anthony on the Mississippi; Oyster Cove; Hell Gate; Burning of Savannah; Passaic Falls, New Jersey; Norfolk, from Gosport, Virginia; Washington's Sepulchre Mount Vernon; Passaic River, Below the Falls; View of the North River; [and] Monument near West Point; rare on the market, each page matted separately, accompanied by the original half leather marbled-covered boards, all housed in an archival box; plates have some edge chipping, paper with J.M. Wilcox watermark, 16 3/4 x 13 1/2 in.
