Audubon, John James (1785-1851) Brasilian Caracara Eagle, Plate CLXI. [from] The Birds of America; from Original Drawings, London: by the Author, 1827-1838. Double-elephant folio, hand-colored engraving on J. Whatman watermarked paper dated 1836, trimmed touching plate number and left- and right-outermost text at the foot of the print, some remnants of an old mount on the verso, some edge toning, 37 x 24 1/4 in.
