Pen-and-ink sketch on paper, finished in watercolors, drawn to accompany Ernest Rhys's poem, "In the Train: Portrait of a Navvy," published in issue number 5, first year of Yeats', A Broadside, with a hand-colored copy of the printed publication, the drawing signed by Yeats in lower left, matted and framed, with a note on the verso of the frame stating that the drawing was purchased directly from Yeats in 1917, 7 3/4 x 7 1/4 in.
