Description:

Northwest Coast Polychrome Wooden Model Totem Pole, c. 1890s, on a large complex base, with five clan crest animal figures, with shall inlay in some of the eyes, multicolored paint work and a hollowed out to back, with an old painted inventory number verso, ht. 39 1/4 in.
Estimate $2,000-2,500

The animal on the top has been broken and re-attached. Paint loss overall, heavier in places.
