Plains Catlinite Horse and Rider Pipe Bowl with Twisted Ash Stem, fourth quarter 19th century, the horse detailed with finely incised bridle and reins, the rider on a saddle turning to the left, the edge of the stem blackened, (mouth piece broken off), lg. of bowl 6 1/2, lg. of stem 19 1/4 in.
