After Frederic Remington (American, 1861-1909)

The Cheyenne
. Inscribed and numbered "Frederic Remington 52/100" in the bronze base, no foundry mark or copyright inscription. Bronze with dark brown patina (later cast), height 19 in. to the top of the Indian's head, on an oval black marble plinth. Condition: Whip in right hand broken at the top, wear to the patina with some areas of abrasion, dust and dirt to interstices, areas of minor oxidation.
