Pair of Wedgwood Black Basalt Faun and Bacchante Figures, England, 19th century, each mounted atop a circular base, Faun modeled supporting grapes and dead game on his back, ht. 14 1/2; Bacchante supporting a bunch of grapes and holding a scythe in an outstretched hand, ht. 14 1/2 in.; impressed marks.
The property of Jeffrey Milkins.
Estimate $4,000-6,000

Faun: Restored wings and to small chips on hair.
Bacchante: In very good condition throughout with no evidence of any cracks, chips or restorations.
