George III Irish Sterling Silver Salver, Dublin, 1777, Matthew West, maker, with a gadrooned piecrust rim, on three claw-and-ball feet, dia. 16 3/4 in., approx. 59.1 troy oz.
Probable professional engraving removal to center: silver surface does not appear thinner but there is a slight discoloration to center, no abrasions or pitting. Otherwise light surface abrasions.
