Moritz Pillischer Compound Monocular Microscope, London, mid-19th century, no. 214, lacquered brass instrument with coarse focusing, lever fine adjustment at nosepiece, X-Y square stage, large plano mirror, all resting on a Y-shaped base engraved "M. Pillischer/London/No. 214," with an additional objective, two signed objective cases, and an eyepiece, ht. 18 in.
