Jonathan Robotham Ebonized and Brass-mounted Mantel Clock, Hampstead, England, c. 1790-1824, dome-top case with red fabric-backed sound frets, large 8-in. convex roman numeral dial marked "Robotham/Hampstead," brass-mounted quarter-columns and applied brass inlay, all resting on ball feet, finely engraved rear plate housing an eight-day time and hour-strike mechanism, regulated by an engraved brass pendulum, ht. 19 1/2 in.
