Walnut Armchair, Pennsylvania, mid-18th century, the scratch-beaded serpentine crest with flared terminals above shaped stiles and a vasiform splat, outward-scrolling arms on shaped supports, and trapezoidal slip seat on shaped rails joining frontal cabriole legs ending in pad feet, old refinish, (crack to splat),ht. 39 3/4, seat ht. 16 in.

seat frame appears original but has new corner brackets to stabilize, small crack to upper part of splat.
