Gilt-bronze Figure of the Four-armed Vajrasattva, Sino-Tibet, 18th century or earlier, seated in dhyanasana, with a vajra in her rear right hand, her primary hands apart with the right raised at waist, the left touching her feet, painted details, double vajra mark on base, incised with nine arabic numbers, with a loose sutra (loose from one of the palms),ht. 7 in.
Provenance: Purchased in China in the 1930s, then by descent to the present owner.
