Italian or Argentine School, 20th Century
Portrait of Giuseppe Garibaldi. Unsigned, with a lithographic signature of Garibaldi l.c., and with an inscription in ink from the Secretary of the Circulo Garibaldino l.r. Tinted lithograph on paper, sight size 20 x 15 in., framed. Condition: Scattered creases that appear to result from mounting, not examined out of frame.
N.B. The print seems to be a reproduction after a photograph of Garibaldi taken by the Alinari Brothers studio in Florence, c. 1870. The inscription appears to be a dedication relating to Montevideo, Argentina.
