Man with Cuboid, 1958 (Bool et al., 430). Signed "MCEscher" in pencil l.l., initialed within the block. Woodcut on paper, image size 2 9/16 x 2 9/16 in. (6.5 x 6.5 cm),framed.
Condition: Not examined out of frame.
N.B. The same figure appears in reverse at the base of the tower in Escher's Belvedere, also of 1958.

Out of the frame the sheet measures 5 1/2 x 4 inches, and is "hinged" with old clear tape near the upper corners. The sheet is a cream color and is annotated "8" in pencil near the lower left corner. The supporting mat is stamped "PAUL SCHUSTER ART GALLERY...CAMBRIDGE, MASS."
