Description:

Georgian Mahogany Bookcase on Chest, England, late 18th century with later alterations, broken swan's-neck pediment with centered finial above an overhanging cornice, the bookcase with two doors and a lower section with three long drawers, set on French feet, ht. 92, wd. 47, dp. 20 in.
Estimate $800-1,000

Refinished, pediment probably later, upper section with backboard removed and replaced with plywood in turn cut to accomadate a television, repairs to French feet.
