French Empire-style Mahogany and Mahogany-veneered Writing Desk with Specimen Marble Top,
late 19th/early 20th century with later alterations, top inset with squares of colored stone, frieze with long drawer with writing surface and storage compartments, each leg formed by three columns, cross-stretchers with gilt-bronze vase at the crossing, ht. 30 3/4, wd. 48, dp. 29 3/4 in.
