Southwest Polychrome Pottery Jar, Zuni, late 19th century, with alternating registers of heartline deer-in-the-house motifs and two abstract motifs between, with repeated abstract motifs around the neck, ht. 9 1/2, wd. 12 in.
Provenance: Private collection, Columbus, Ohio; purchased from Channing, Dale, and Throckmorton, Santa Fe, 1988.
No cracks visible; cannot see any repairs; paint loss and minor loss to the rim due to use.
