Southwest Painted Pottery Canteen, Zuni, early 20th century, the flat-bottom bulbous form painted with a large red and black spiral rattlesnake design on a cream-colored ground, starting on the top and continuing to the back, two lugs for attachment, with a large, short spout, ht. 7 1/2, wd. 10 1/12 in.
