Southern Cheyenne Beaded Hide Man's Moccasins, c. 1880s, with long heel fringe, fringe off the vamp, painted with yellow pigments, and beaded with multicolored geometric designs on a white background, lg. 11 in.

Provenance: Deaccessioned from the Northampton County Historical & Genealogical Society, Easton, Pennsylvania. Inscribed on one sole "A 103 v.1 Cheyenne Indians 1896."
