Laurence Biddle (British, 1888-1968)

Flowers in a Bowl. Signed and dated "Laurence Biddle 47" l.r., identified on a label from Williams & Son, London, and on a unidentified typed label, both affixed to the frame backing paper. Oil on canvas, sight size 13 1/2 x 20 1/2 in., framed. Condition: Old retouch, craquelure, minor surface grime.
Estimate $300-500

The back of the painting was not examined in order not to disturb the labels on the frame backing paper. Retouch to the left side of the background.
