Swan of Poughkeepsie, New York, declining an invitation to speak, together with holograph envelope, matted and framed with (unfortunately) an image of Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes Junior (1841-1935),who was eleven years of age when his father wrote this letter; the letter 6 3/4 x 4 in.; [together with] a framed photograph of Tremont Street, Boston, circa 1904.
