English Viola d'Amore, George Saint-George, London, 1912, bearing the maker's manuscript label, with case.
Estimate $1,500-2,500

In good condition. Repaired top cracks to bass sound hole and to treble side of lower bout extending 9 cm from edge. Minor cracks to lowest sympathetic string peg and back of pegbox. Minor open seam to back treble shoulder. Surface scratches and abrasions.
