Paint-decorated Pine Six-board Chest, Mohawk Valley, New York, early 19th century, the molded top above a well with till, on molded shoe feet, the interior of the top lettered "W. BURLINGAME, J.R." and with "pointing hand" stamps, (imperfections and paint wear),ht. 18, wd. 53, dp. 20 1/2 in.
Note: The inscription on the interior of the top may refer to the early 20th century antiques dealer Westcott Burlingame of Albany, New York.
