Scrimshaw Whale's Tooth of the United States Capitol and George Washington, mid-19th century, one side depicting a view of the west facade of the capitol building with a tree-lined approach in the front, inscribed below "UNITED STATES CAPITOL," the back with an image of George Washington in military dress inscribed "GEN WASHINGTON," signed on the edge "C.G. Tousey," lg. 7 in.
