Wilson Fowler, Richard Wilson, London, England, c. mid-18th century, .81 caliber, walnut half stock with an iron rib added under the barrel, brass fittings with an openwork side plate with foliate designs, lock marked under the pan "Wilson," barrel has proof marks on the breech and "RW," marked on the top of the barrel "LONDON," with a wooden ramrod, barrel lg. 48 1/4, overall lg. 65 1/4 in.
