American Militia Musket, late 18th century, .71 caliber, Charleville-marked French lock converted to percussion, cherry stock branded "PERS" behind the sideplate, round barrel with narrow sight/bayonet lug, iron buttplate, trigger guard and sideplate, sheet brass rammer pipes, steel rammer, barrel lg. 44 5/8, overall lg. 61 1/4 in.

Forestock cracked between first and second rammer pipes, muzzle damaged. Iron has light overall pitting and mostly toned to a deep chocolate brown.
