Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall Rifle, c. 1885, serial number 269, .32-40 caliber, walnut stock and forend, steel fittings, octagonal barrel marked on the top "MANUFACTURED BY THE/WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN U.S.A.," barrel lg. 28, overall lg. 44 1/4 in.

Stock has some dings and nicks, the receiver and barrel are a plum color with some light powdery rust spots on the receiver, and the bore has some light pitting but in good condition.
