Powder Horn Identified to Stephen Parks of Concord, Massachusetts, c. 1745, horn with a recessed pine plug, paper label marked "FAB, yer/STEPHEN/PARKS OF/CONcD : MAs/1745," covered with a piece of glass and a pine ring, with carved spout and stopper, overall lg. 19 1/2 in.
Provenance: Ed Charol collection; George C. Neumann collection to the present owner.

Note: Stephen Parks was born in Concord, Massachusetts, on April 21, 1721. In 1754 that part of Concord became the new town of Lincoln.

Horn is in very good condition with some fading on the bottom of the paper label.
