British Light Infantry-marked Socket Bayonet, c. last quarter of the 18th century, steel bayonet engraved on the base of the socket "LI/50, marked on the blade with "DAWES" and a crown over "9," blade lg. 17, overall lg. 21 1/2 in.

Provenance: The Bill Ahearn collection.
