Painting within a Box, 19th century, dovetailed box with a painting of a woman in a blue dress next to a circular scene of a soldier standing in profile in front of a tree, box ht. 5 3/4, wd. 12 1/4, dp. 7 1/4 in.

Note: Box was found in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
