Adie & Son Lacquered Brass Anemometer, Edinburgh, Scotland, 19th century, portable instrument with hinged access door opening to reveal the geared count wheel engraved "Adie & Son/Edin," main shaft with spring collar, and a four-blade propeller, housed in the original mahogany case, case lg. 17 in.
