Danish Tell-tale Crown Compass, c. 1810, gilded brass frame with applied stars housing the colorless glass dome with gilt inscription reading "Kaperkutter Johanne von Kopenhagen 1810" with an image of a cutter under full sail, seven-star compass card with fleur-de-lis representing north, and central cartouche, with its original gimbaled suspension, dia. 10 in.
