Waltham No. 13 Wall Regulator, Bartlett, New Hampshire, c. 1910, oak case with full-length glazed door, 14-in. painted roman numeral dial with seconds bit and marked "Waltham Clock Co.," eight-day movement marked "Waltham Watch Co./U.S.A.," with Graham dead-beat escapement, maintaining power, and jeweled pallets, regulated by a three-jar mercury pendulum with silvered beat scale marked as above, ht. 70 in.
Note: A letter from Walter A. Browne of Westbrook, Maine's Maine Central Railroad Company accompanies this clock and reads in part: "The Waltham clock in this office is movement number 991. My records of 1952 show this clock in service at Bartlett, N.H. and was designated as 'Standard' clock for crew watch comparison before going 'On Duty.'"
