Early Italian Rosewood Veneered Alarm Table Clock, dome-top case with brass bail handle and four flame finials, applied brass mounts and pierced sound frets above the composite brass dial with name boss in the arch reading "Vespasian/Roma," applied pierced brass spandrels, roman numeral chapter ring, alarm disk, false pendulum aperture, and pierced iron hands, all resting on a stepped, molded base and four foliate design feet, eight-day half-hour strike on two bells with crown-wheel escapement and pull repeat, ht. with handle extended 21 in.
