Aaron Siskind (American, 1903-1991)

Pleasures and Terrors of Levitation 60, 1956. Unsigned. Gelatin silver print mounted to board, image/sheet size 15 x 15 in. (38.0 x 38.0 cm), unframed. Condition: Minor surface grime.

N.B. The image was reproduced on the cover of the summer 1986 issue of the Catskill Center for Photography newsletter Center Quarterly. A copy of the newsletter accompanies the lot.
Provenance: The estate of Marie Cosindas, pioneer photographer, Boston.

Mount measures 21 1/8 x 20 in. (53.6 x 50.8 cm). Minor surface scuffs. No additional issues to report.
