Shards IV, 1982, edition of 100, published by Petersburg Press, New York (Axsom, 147). Numbered, signed, and dated "3/100 F. Stella '82" in pencil within the image l.r. Color offset lithograph and screenprint on paper, image size 39 1/2 x 45 in. (100.3 x 114.2 cm),framed (unglazed).
Condition: Gentle rippling, not examined out of frame.
Estimate $6,000-8,000

Even though the work is not glazed, the condition of the print surface is good. No abrasions or scuffs were noted. The sheet bulges slightly at the bottom indicating that it is not likely to be laid down. Because the work is unglazed, it cannot be fully examined out of frame without risking damage to the print. Not addditional issues were observed.
