Large Bronze Vase and Stand, Japan, Meiji period, globular form, decorated with a continuous scene of swimming koi with ripple, gold-inlaid details to the eyes, nine-character mark reading "Dai Nippon Kano Seiun chu" in a square cartouche on base, the stand with four wave-inspired legs on a wavy circular base, ht. 32 in.
Provenance: Sold to present owner by Oriental Treasure Box gallery, San Diego, California, in 2007/2008.
