Cast Zinc and Molded Sheet Copper Horse Weathervane, attributed to J. Howard, West Bridgewater, Massachusetts, c. 1852-67, with cast zinc head, neck, and forequarters, with molded sheet copper hindquarters, ears, and corrugated sheet copper tail, dark patina with vestiges of gilt, yellow paint, and verdigris, mounted on an iron bar, including black metal stand, (a few minor bullet dents),total ht. 20 1/8, lg. 25 in.
