Description:

Pearlware Barrel-form Slip-banded Jug, England, c. 1820, decorated with bands of blue, rust, ochre, and taupe slip with cat's-eyes on ochre ground and groups of twelve mini cat's-eyes on taupe, as well as green-glazed bands of reeding, the handle with foliate terminals, ht. 7 in.

Y shaped crack in the base with one crack extending up the side to the rim, small chips on the base, repaired spout, evidence of repair on the rim.
